Here are some tips on how to wax your legs:
- 1. Don't take a shower before waxing. Hair absorbs water making it soft causing the wax adherence less effective.
- 2. Choose your product. There are waxes or sugar solutions available.
- 3. Read instructions thoroughly, twice.
- 4. If product needs to be heated, do so for suggested time.
- 5. Test the temperature so that you don't burn yourself.
- 6. Check legs to be sure that they are dry. This is very important.
- 7. For first time wax users, apply a thin layer of wax/sugar solution in a small area of the leg following hair growth direction.
- 8. Press strip onto leg.
- 9. Turn a small area back against the strip.
- 10. It should be resting flat against the strip about to be removed.
- 11. Lift the end as instructed and pull back toward you.
- 12. Do not pull up but instead pull back.
- 13. Repeat procedure if you have missed a few hairs.
- 14. Continue the leg until you are hair free
- 15. Clean your freshly wax skin with warm moist towel.
- 16. Don't wear tight fitting clothes after to prevent skin irritation.
